Ingredients

4 tbsp. Paula Deen’s House Seasoning

2 tbsp. seasoned salt

4 tbsp. Liquid Smoke

1 pork butt roast

1 medium onion

1 c. water

3 bay leaves

bbq sauce

Preparation

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.Step 2Sprinkle one side of the roast with 2 tablespoons of the house seasoning, making sure to rub well. Flip the roast over and rub in the remaining 2 tablespoons of house seasoning. Repeat the process with the seasoned salt and liquid smoke, then thoroughly rub the meat. Place the roast in a large roasting pan. Add the onion, water, and bay leaves to the roast. Place in the oven and cook for 2 1/2 to 3 hours, or until thermometer reads 170 degrees. Let the meat cool.Step 3Shred the pork with a fork or tongs into bite-size pieces. Mix BBQ sauce into the pork, and serve on choice of bread.
