1-1/2 cups uncooked wide egg noodles2 tablespoons shredded Parmesan cheese1 tablespoon butter1 tablespoon olive oil2 teaspoons minced fresh basil or 1/2 teaspoon dried basil1/2 teaspoon minced fresh thyme or 1/8 teaspoon dried thyme1 garlic clove, minced1/4 teaspoon salt

In a small saucepan, cook noodles according to package directions; drain. Add the remaining ingredients and toss to coat.
