Ingredients
2 cups old-fashioned oats1/2 cup sweetened shredded coconut1/2 cup toasted wheat germ1/4 cup oat bran1/4 cup sunflower kernels1/4 cup slivered almonds1/4 cup chopped pecans2 tablespoons sesame seeds1/4 cup honey2 tablespoons canola oil2 tablespoons grated orange zest1 teaspoon vanilla extract1/2 teaspoon salt1 cup dried cranberries3/4 cup chopped dates1/2 cup chopped dried figs1/2 cup chopped dried apricots3 tablespoons raisins
Preparation
In a large bowl, combine the first eight ingredients. In a small bowl, whisk the honey, oil, orange zest, vanilla and salt; pour over oat mixture and mix well. Spread evenly into an ungreased 15x10x1-in. baking pan.
Bake at 350° for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown, stirring once. Cool completely on a wire rack. Stir in dried fruits. Store in an airtight container.
