Ingredients
1 small onion, chopped2 tablespoons butter2 tablespoons all-purpose flourSalt and pepper to taste1-1/4 cups milk1-1/4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Preparation
In a saucepan, saute onion in butter. Stir in the flour, salt and pepper until blended. Gradually add the milk.
Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 1-2 minutes or until thickened. Reduce heat. Add the cheese; cook and stir until cheese is melted.
