1 bunch fresh cilantro leaves, stems removed (about 2 cups)1 bunch fresh mint leaves, stems removed (about 1 cup)3 to 4 whole green chile peppers3 garlic cloves, halvedJuice of 1 lemon or lime1 tablespoon sugar1 teaspoon cumin seeds1/2 teaspoon salt1 to 2 tablespoons water

In a blender, combine the first 8 ingredients; cover and process until smooth, adding water to reach desired consistency.
