Ingredients

1 teaspoon butter2 cups all-purpose flour1 cup sugar1/2 teaspoon baking soda1/2 teaspoon salt1/2 cup canola oil1/4 cup 2% milk1 jar (28 ounces) prepared mincemeat1 cup chopped pecans

Preparation

Preheat oven to 400°. Line an 8-in. square baking pan with foil; grease foil with butter. In a large bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking soda and salt. Stir in oil and milk. Reserve 1 cup for topping. Press remaining crumb mixture onto bottom of prepared pan. Spread with mincemeat. Stir pecans into reserved crumb mixture; sprinkle over top. Bake 30-35 minutes or until topping is golden brown.

Cool completely in pan on a wire rack. Cut into bars.
