Ingredients

1 cup old-fashioned oats1/4 cup dried cranberries or cherries1 tablespoon brown sugar2 cups fat-free milk1/2 cup chunky applesauce1/4 teaspoon almond extract2 tablespoons sliced almondsOptional toppings: vanilla yogurt and additional dried cranberries and sliced almonds

Preparation

In a large bowl, combine the first six ingredients. Transfer to a 3-cup baking dish coated with cooking spray; sprinkle with almonds.

Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 45-50 minutes or until set. Serve with toppings if desired.
