Ingredients

2 cups butter, softened2 cups sugar2 large eggs, room temperature2 large egg yolks, room temperature2 teaspoons vanilla extract5 cups all-purpose flour1 teaspoon salt

Preparation

In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs, egg yolks and vanilla. Combine flour and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well.

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
