Ingredients

1/4 cup olive oil1 tablespoon white vinegar1/2 teaspoon minced garlic1/2 teaspoon dried basil1/2 teaspoon dried oregano8 ounces cheddar cheese, cut into 3/4-in. cubes1 can (6 ounces) pitted ripe olives, drained8 ounces hard salami, cut into 3/4-in. cubes1 medium sweet red pepper, cut into 3/4-inch pieces1 medium green pepper, cut into 3/4-inch pieces

Preparation

In a large shallow dish, combine the first 5 ingredients; add remaining ingredients. Stir to coat; refrigerate at least 4 hours. Drain, discarding marinade.

For kabobs, thread cheese, olives, salami and peppers onto toothpicks.
