Ingredients

1/2 cup red wine vinegar1/2 cup soy sauce2 tablespoons lemon juice1 tablespoon brown sugar1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce2 garlic cloves, minced1/4 teaspoon onion powder2 pounds boneless beef chuck steak

Preparation

In a shallow dish, combine the first 7 ingredients. Add the beef and turn to coat. Cover; refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight.

Drain and discard marinade. Grill steak, covered, over medium heat for 8-10 minutes on each side or until meat reaches desired doneness (for medium-rare, a thermometer should read 135°; medium, 140°; medium-well, 145°). Let stand for 10 minutes before slicing.
