Ingredients
2 cups marinara sauce1 carton (8 ounces) fresh mozzarella cheese pearls, drained2 tablespoons minced fresh basilFrench bread baguette, thinly sliced and toastedOptional: Crushed red pepper flakes and additional minced fresh basil
Preparation
Pour marinara into a 1-1/2-qt. slow cooker. Cook, covered, on low about 2 hours, until hot. Stir in mozzarella and basil. Cook until cheese is melted, about 30 minutes longer. Serve with toasted baguette slices and, if desired, top with crushed red pepper flakes and additional basil.
