Ingredients
2/3 cup sugar1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce1/3 cup canola oil1 tablespoon maple syrup2 cups quick-cooking oats1 cup all-purpose flour1 teaspoon baking soda1/2 teaspoon salt1/2 teaspoon ground allspice1/2 cup raisins
Preparation
In a large bowl, beat the sugar, applesauce, oil and syrup until well blended.
In a small bowl, combine the oats, flour, baking soda, salt and allspice; gradually beat into applesauce mixture until blended. Stir in raisins.
Spread batter into a 13-in. x 9-in. baking pan coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350° for 15-20 minutes or until edges begin to brown. Cool completely on a wire rack. Cut into bars.
